Question: Does the amount of traffic an artist or album receive affect its position in the itunes search results?
Hypothesis: Applying focused traffic to a single album on itunes will cause it to to rise in the search results, once it gets above the third position for a given keyword, it should be self-sustaining.
Method: Apply traffic to "A Bride's Collection of Traditional Classical Wedding Music" by doing any 5 of the activities below. Make sure you follow the directions carefully.
1) Post this status message on your facebook account. (or something like it): "Helping Will Taylor test a hyposthesis about itunes. See his page if you're interested" (tag me in the status message)
2) Open itunes, in the search box put in wedding music, next to Album click See All, in the list find "A Bride's Collection of Traditional Classical Wedding Music" and click on it, find the PREVIEW ALL button and click

3) Look at the reviews and click "yes" if you think its helpful, "no" if not
4) On the left hand side click 5 stars for "Rate This" section
5) In the left corner just below the album graphic, click on the arrow pointing down and Share it on your facebook and/or Twitter account (THIS IS A BIG ONE, PLEASE CONSIDER IT)
6) Click the down arrow again and save it to your wishlist. This doesn't mean you're buying it or have to at any point.
